This style is ready to use 30 seconds after it is filled with regular water and it includes two machine washable pads that are easily affixed to the cleaning head with a drawstring attachment. A unique feature of this model is the beads that change color to tell the consumer that the outside filter has to be changed.

There were numerous comments on this steamer, and it does a great job; however, there are also criticisms that it doesn’t do a real good job cleaning grout or get close enough to the walls to clean.

Hoover H2510 Impulse Cordless Electric Power Mop

This Hoover is another Hard Floor Steam Cleaner with a unique feature – it is cordless. It is extremely handy for washing and drying different types of flooring surfaces, such as stone, ceramic, tile, linoleum, vinyl, and several others. This model weighs eight pounds, can be easily moved around, and priced at $109.

The cordless feature is possible because of a rechargeable battery allowing the unit to operate for 30 minutes before recharging, with an orange indicator telling the operator that there is only power for two more minutes.

It has two approaches to cleaning - the first is a “Scrub” setting with a revolving brush loosening dried on mud and other hard to clean disasters; and the second is the “Pickup” setting that uses the squeegee for drying. The cleaning surface is 11” wide. It has two separate tanks for clean and dirty water.

There were a lot of reviews on this model and the customer really liked its cleaning capability; however, the main complaint is that it doesn’t do a really great job cleaning grout.

Shark S3501 Deluxe Steam Pocket Mop

This model Hard Floor Steam Cleaner is extremely handy because included are two mop heads – one is a triangular-shaped, and the other is a rectangular.

This model costs $149 and is eco- friendly making it safe for children and animals to be around. It weighs four pounds, so it can be easily transported around the house, and it has a 25 foot power cord.

It take 30 seconds for the water to heat, and since steam is best for sanitizing, it’s the preferred method to clean. Steam is emitted when the mop is pushed forward making it easy to operate since there is not a trigger to hold.

There are also re-usable two micro-fiber pads included for each head that can be machine washed.. The mop surface flips over allowing the reverse side to be used. A carpet attachment is available to clean rugs.

The customers stated that its so easy to use, but the main complaint about is that the steam doesn’t get hot enough to effectively clean set-in dirt and mud.
